NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The migrant who was allegedly at the center of the group assault against two NYPD officers in Times Square in January had his bail hearing pushed back to a later date.

Yohenry Brito’s case was adjourned until April 2.

Brito remains in police custody on $15,000 cash/$50,000 Insurance Company Bond/Partially Secured Surety Bond. A 72-hour surety hearing will be held should he post bail, officials said.

Police advocates believe Brito should stay behind bars.
