'Mera hukum hai...' - Mr & Mrs Jadeja's Instagram banter

's wife, Rivaba, posted an image in front of her husband's picture at the Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) team hotel in Chennai, the CSK allrounder's response to the post delighted his fans.
Rivaba got herself clicked wearing a t-shirt with 'Hukum' (Hindi for 'order') written on it and posted the image on Instagram.

To that Jadeja replied: "Mera hukum hai room aao jaldi (my order is come back to the room quickly)".


The CSK players are allowed to travel with their families during the IPL, which also helps the players to stay stress-free and handle the constant on-field pressure.
The defending champions, who have won the IPL five times, will host 2022 winners Gujarat Titans in what will be a repat of the 2023 final where Jadeja's heroics helped CSK beat the Titans. The victory followed an iconic moment where CSK captain MS Dhoni lifted Jadeja to celebrate the title win.


Dhoni relinquished CSK captaincy at the start of this season and the team is now led by opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad. Gujarat too have a new captain in Shubman Gill, after Hardik Pandya was traded to Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2024 season.
Both Chennai and Gujarat won their opeining game of the season against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians, respectively.
