NEW DELHI:
Jasprit Bumrah
's menacing yorker that sent
Ollie Pope
's middle and leg stumps flying on Saturday set the social media on fire as the India pace spearhead garnered high praise for his stupendous delivery on the second day of the Vizag Test.
Bumrah’s 'guided missile' came in the 28th over of England's innings when a set Pope looked absolutely clueless against this big, beaming in-swinging yorker from the India quick.
As Bumrah murdered two innocent stumps, fans were quick to react to the magical toe-crusher from the prolific India speedster.
Even Pope, who is the leading run getter of the series for England and scored 196 in the last innings, looked absolutely helpless while trying to defend the Bumrah unplayable delivery.
Zak Crawley (76) and skipper
Ben Stokes
(47) battled out for England on the second day after India's 396 in the first innings and helped their side avoid the follow-on but the hosts stared at conceding a big first innings lead as India bowlers fired in unison in the second and third sessions of the day.
