Man, woman shot in head in possible murder-suicide in Brooklyn

MIDWOOD, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- A man and woman were shot to death in a Brooklyn home Monday in a possible murder-suicide, police said.

Authorities found a 27-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the head at a home on Avenue I in Midwood at around 10 a.m., according to the NYPD. They died at the scene.

Cops recovered a gun at the scene, police said. The relationship between the man and woman is unknown.

It was unclear what prompted the shooting and if there was a history of domestic violence.
