Man, woman fatally shot in the head in Queens home: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man and woman were both found dead inside a Queens home on Friday, police said.

Officers discovered Joseph Murphy, 38, and Kenisha Mirrison, 35, unresponsive and unconscious with gunshot wounds to their heads at 2:44 p.m., authorities report.

A firearm was found near the man's body inside the home located on 143rd St. authorities said. First responders declared both victims dead at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing and no arrests have been made.
