Man walking on sidewalk injured in Queens drive-by shooting: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was injured on Tuesday in a drive-by shooting in Queens, according to the NYPD.

It happened on South Conduit Avenue and Farmers Boulevard around 6:40 p.m. The victim was walking on a sidewalk at the intersection when the suspect, driving a BMW headed east, fired multiple rounds, according to authorities.

The man was shot in the stomach and taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, per police.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing, according to authorities.
