Man urinating on Manhattan street stabbed stranger after fight: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man urinating outside a building in the West Village stabbed a stranger who confronted him on Wednesday, police said.

The victim, 27, saw the suspect relieving himself outside 63 Downing St. near Varick Street and said something before the two argued at around 4:10 p.m., according to the NYPD. The urinator then stabbed the man in the right side of his stomach before running off, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a lung injury, officials said.

The suspect was last seen heading southbound on Varick Street, police said.
