The MTA recommended utilizing N, W, and No. 7 trains for service between Manhattan and Queens.

M trains are not running between Essex and Forest Hills. Subway riders can expect to wait longer for J trains, as they share the track with rerouted M trains, according to the MTA.

The man sustained a hand injury and was taken to a hospital. The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature, according to the NYPD.
