Man steals nearly Rs 2 lakh from shop in Haryana's Rewari, probe on

An unidentified man in Haryana's Rewari was on Saturday caught on CCTV breaking into a shop and stealing money and other valuable items.

According to the Rewari Police, the unidentified man entered the shop, that belonged to one Bajrang Goyal, and stole nearly two lakh rupees from the cash box and other valuable items.

The CCTV footage of the incident showed the accused entering the shop and then leaving the place after stealing.

Speaking about the incident, Bajrang Goyal said, "I went to the market after closing down his shop at around 4.30 pm. The shop's shutter was half open. When I returned, I found the cash box broken and Rs 1.80 lakh, in cash, was missing. The CCTV camera has captured one of the accused entering the shop."

After the incident, the police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and launched a probe to trace the accused.
