Man steals $32K in jewelry from East Williamsburg store: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a suspect who stole approximately $32,000 worth of jewelry from a store in East Williamsburg on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

The theft occurred around 12:24 p.m. at Majestic Jewelry 71 Graham Avenue, police said.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot on Bartlett Street and Throop Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Police described the suspect as a male between 5'9'' and 6'0'' feet a male wearing a burgundy zip-up sweater, a white t-shirt underneath the sweater, brown beanies, black sweatpants, and a black face mask.
