Man stabbed multiple times in Queens subway station: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a 28-year-old was stabbed multiple times inside a subway station in Queens.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, on the northbound R platform in the Steinway Street station.

Police say two individuals were involved in a verbal dispute, which resulted in the victim being stabbed multiple times in the left and torso.

The suspect fled the station. Police released the following photos of the individual.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.
