THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was stabbed multiple times inside a subway station in the Bronx Thursday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call at the Westchester Avenue-Jackson Avenue No. 2 subway station around 3 p.m. Officers discovered a 41-year-old man had been stabbed numerous times in his right arm, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive, authorities said.
It remains unclear if this was an unprovoked attack, police said. No arrests have been made.
