CHINATOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was stabbed in Chinatown in Manhattan Thursday after he told a person asking him for money that he didn’t have any, police sources said.
The stabbing happened at Division and Eldridge streets around 9:15 a.m., according to the FDNY.
The 45-year-old victim was stabbed in his shoulder after telling another man asking him for money that he didn’t have any, police sources said.
The victim was taken to a hospital, authorities said.
Police didn’t provide any additional information about the suspect, who hasn’t been arrested.
