Man slashed after asking man to stop urinating on car in East Village: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for a man accused of slashing another man with a box cutter in the East Village on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

The suspect was allegedly urinating on a car on East 14th Street around 5:05 p.m., police said. When a 66-year-old man asked him to stop, the suspect allegedly pulled out a box cutter, according to authorities.

Police said the victim was slashed in the neck, which caused severe laceration and bleeding.

He was taken by EMS to Mount Sinai Beth Israel in critical condition, according to authorities.
