FORDHAM HEIGHTS, Bronx (PIX11) -- One person is dead following a double shooting in Fordham Heights Sunday evening, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 6:49 p.m. near East 188 Street and Marion Avenue.
One victim, a 57-year-old man, was sitting on his walker when he was shot in the head, police say.
The victim, identified as Kevin Jennings of the Bronx, was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he passed away.
The second victim, a 34-year-old woman, was shot in the left leg, police say. She was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
