Man shot twice in Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel parking lot: police

ISLANDIA, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was left seriously injured following a shooting in Jake's 58 Casino Hotel parking lot Friday night, police said.

A 38-year-old Wyandanch man was shot twice after the suspect approached him at around 10 p.m., according to Suffolk police. The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim walked into the Long Island casino for help and 911 was called, police said. First responders rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
