Man shot to death on Bronx subway: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was fatally shot on a D train at the 182nd–183rd Streets station in the Bronx Friday morning, according to the NYPD.

Police said a man in his 40s was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A witness told PIX11 News that EMS gave the victim CPR for 10 minutes.

Southbound D trains are running on the express track from Bedford Park Boulevard to Tremont Avenue, according to the MTA.
