Man shot in the arm in Bronx bar: NYPD

SCHUYLERVILLE, the Bronx (PIX11) --- A man was shot in the arm in a Bronx bar Sunday night, police said.

The 44-year-old man was struck inside the Agua e Coco Bar and Grill on East Tremont Avenue in Schuylerville at around 11:45 p.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

It was unclear what prompted the gunfire.

The shooter fled the scene in a jeep, police said. There have been no arrests.
