QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man allegedly held up three different 7-Elevens in Queens in the span of a little over an hour Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The spree happened between 2:56 a.m. and 4:03 a.m., police said. The suspect allegedly entered the first 7-Eleven, located at 112-11 Liberty Ave., around 2:56 a.m., according to authorities.
The man displayed a firearm to an employee, and was able to escape with $400 in cash, police said.
The second armed robbery happened around 3:44 a.m. at 159-35 Cross Bay Blvd. The suspect was able to get away with $1,500, according to authorities.
The third armed robbery took place at 154-18 Rockaway Blvd. around 4:03 a.m. The employee opened the register after the suspect displayed a firearm, but left without taking any money, police said.
The man is described as being around 5'8" and was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black jacket, grey sweatpants, black baseball cap and a surgical mask.
