Man hit in the head with metal pipe in Chinatown: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was repeatedly hit in the head with a metal pipe on a Manhattan street last month, police said Sunday.

The suspect attacked the 36-year-old man with a pipe following a fight near  83 Baxter St. in Chinatown at around 3:40 a.m. on Jan. 30, according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect was last seen running north on Baxter Street, police said. There have been no arrests.
