A man sparked controversy in a viral video by asserting that gaming should be abandoned after turning 26 due to other responsibilities.
Aaron Wilkinson, a TikToker with 11,100 followers, claimed that if you’re over 25, you should stop playing video games.
Taking to his TikTok page, Aaron released a video, which has now gone viral, amassing 267,000 views, where he said: “You gotta grow up.”
He continued: “You can’t be gaming as a dad, as a partner, as a husband.
“It just doesn’t make sense to me.
“Sat there with your headphones on while your missus makes your dinner.”

“I grew out of that. A lot of my mates grew out of that as well.
“CoD (Call of Duty) with the boys at 26? I got stuff to do, mate.”
Many people had something to say about Aaron’s radical conclusion, as a TikTok user sarcastically posted: “Won’t be on tonight lads, Aaron from TikTok says so.”

Another person wrote: “Just stuck my Xbox on Amazon pal and going to start making TikToks in my car like a real man.”
Someone else commented: “I’d be 80 on my death bed I’ll still be running Warzone games.”
A separate individual chimed in:: “32 with a partner and 2 kids and we both game when the kids are in bed.”

2022 saw 71% of gamers in the US belong to the Caucasian ethnicity, while Asia’s video game population comprised 37% of female gamers.
The country with the largest gaming population in 2022 was China, garnering around 742.19 million.
