MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was found dead inside a Morningside Heights home early Saturday morning, police said.
Police identified the man as 40-year-old Edgardo Guillermo Ortiz Palacious after he was found unconscious and unresponsive in his home at 3:15 a.m., according to the NYPD. First responders rushed him to Mount Sinai Morningside where he was declared dead.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the victim's cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing.
