Man found dead in NYC park, investigation underway: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in the Bronx on Thursday morning.

The NYPD located the body inside Joyce Kilmer Park after receiving a 911 call at around 6:53 a.m.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of the death.

PIX11 News reached out to the NYPD but no additional information was available as of Thursday morning.
