Man found dead in Bath Beach apartment had bruises on neck: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 38-year-old man found dead in Bath Beach, Brooklyn on Thursday had bruising on his neck, according to police sources.

Phill Cayenne, 38, was found unconscious in his apartment on Bay 29th Street just before 3 p.m., according to the NYPD. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

Little else remained known about the circumstances of Cayenne’s death. Police had one person in custody Friday but had not charged the person, according to police sources.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner had not yet determined the cause of death, officials said.
