BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 64-year-old man found dead in a private ambulette in the Bronx appears to have been beaten, sources told PIX11 News.
Police said the man, identified as Peter Forrest, was found lying face down in the vehicle around 10:30 a.m. Monday on Castle Hill Avenue. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to authorities.
Forrest was found in a pool of blood, sources said. Now his death is being investigated as a homicide, police said. Forrest was an employee of the company that owned the ambulette where he was found dead, sources told PIX11.
Police have not made any arrests Tuesday.
