Man fatally shot in the head outside Brooklyn NYCHA complex

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in the head at a Brooklyn NYCHA complex early Friday, police said.

Officers found Dyseem Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds to the head in front of the Albany Houses on Bergen Street in Crown Heights at around 12:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 37-year-old man was taken into custody and the gun was recovered, police said. The charges were pending.

The motive for the shooting was unclear.
