WAKEFIELD, the Bronx (PIX11) --- A man died and three others were injured in a shooting in the Bronx on Sunday, police said.
The victims were shot inside a building at 4137 White Plains Rd. in Wakefield at around 6:10 a.m., according to the NYPD. A 23-year-old man died from a gunshot wound to the chest, police said.
Two men, ages 52 and 44, were shot in the leg and a 26-year-old man was struck in the torso, police said. The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
It was unclear what prompted the gunfire.
There have been no arrests.
