LOWER MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for a man accused of attacking a police officer on Feb. 29, according to the NYPD.
The assault happened near Ann Street and Broadway around 8:35 p.m. The man allegedly approached the officer from behind and punched him with a closed fist, according to authorities.
The officer suffered from minor injuries, police said. The man fled the scene to parts unknown, according to authorities.
