Man allegedly leaves car on Brooklyn Bridge in hit-run: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly rear-ended a driver on the Brooklyn Bridge and then fled the scene last week.

The incident occurred on Feb 2. at around 8:45 a.m., according to authorities. Police report that a 36-year-old man was driving westbound when the suspect driving a blue BMW crashed into him. The suspect then fled the car and ran off on the bike path, authorities said.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was taken a hospital for treatment, police said.
