EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man accused of slashing a person after he was asked to stop urinating on a car in the East Village back in January was arrested, according to the NYPD.
Roberto Ortiz, 28, was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and false personation, according to authorities.
Police said Ortiz was allegedly urinating on a car when a 66-year-old man asked him to stop.
Ortiz is accused of then taking out a box cutter and slashing the victim in the neck, causing a severe laceration and bleeding, according to authorities.
