Man accused of killing 21-year-old in Brooklyn shooting: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man is facing murder charges in connection to the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.

Officers found Dyseem Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds to the head in front of the Albany Houses on Bergen Street at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, police said.

Shortly after the shooting, police took a 37-year-old man into custody. Investigators identified the 37-year-old man as Usamah Sidberry, authorities said.

Sidberry was charged Friday night with murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a firearm, according to the NYPD.
