Man accused of hiding dead body in Brooklyn home

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- A man is accused of hiding a corpse after a woman was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment on Tuesday, police said.

Authorities found the woman unconscious at 94 Rockaway Parkway in East Flatbush just after 7 a.m., according to the NYPD. The unidentified woman had no visible trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The woman may have overdosed, according to sources.

Reginald Newkirk, 51, lives at 94 Rockaway Parkway and was arrested and charged Wednesday with concealment of a human corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and criminal tampering, authorities said.

The relationship between the woman and the suspect was unclear. No other information was available.
