Man accused of fatally shooting victim during robbery in Bronx deli: NYPD

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Investigators released images of a suspect on Monday accused of shooting a man during a robbery inside a Bronx deli early Sunday morning, authorities said.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the right thigh on Sunday at around 4:20 a.m., inside 851 East Tremont Ave., authorities said. Before the shooting the suspect allegedly tried to the victim's items, authorities report.

First responders rushed the injured man to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators on Monday said that the suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, sweatpants, hoodie sweatshirt and sneakers.
