Man, 73, punched in the face, robbed on MTA train in Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A 73-year-old man was punched in the face during a robbery on Brooklyn southbound F train in February, authorities said.

The attack happened on Feb. 13 at around 10 a.m., authorities report. The suspect walked up to the victim after the F train reached the York Street station, punched him in the face and took his cell phone before leaving the station.

The victim's glasses were shattered during the attack, authorities report. The victim refused medical attention at the scene, according to police.
