Maharashtra CET Counselling 2024: CAP registration for BE, BTech begins tomorrow, check details here

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will commence the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) counselling registration process for BE and BTech candidates starting tomorrow, July 10, 2024. Candidates seeking admission to these programmes can visit the official website for MHT CET at cetcell.mahacet.org to complete the registration process once the link becomes active.
Candidates who have cleared the BE and BTech programme examinations are eligible for the counselling process.

MHT CET Counselling 2024: Steps to register

Candidates can follow these steps to register for the MHT CET Counselling 2024 for BE, BTech programmes:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, i.e., cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the

link, once it is active.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Complete the registration process and login to your account.
Step 5: Pay the required fee and click on submit.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of your form for future reference

MHT CET Counselling 2024: Official notice

The official notice on the website reads, ‘The State CET CELL has conducted several CETs, and their results have also been declared. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) has already commenced for 09 professional courses and Direct second-year admission to degrees under the Agriculture Department.’
So far, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has started the counselling process for MCA, MBA/MMS, ME/MTech, and M ARCH. The registration for the counselling process for each subject will begin separately.

MHT CET Counselling 2024: Expected application fee

As per the information, candidates belonging to the General Category, Outside Maharashtra State Applicants, and Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries will have to pay Rs 800 as the registration fee.
Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category from Maharashtra State and Persons with Disability applicants from Maharashtra will have to pay Rs 600 as the registration fee.
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO and foreign nationals will have to pay Rs 5000 as the registration fee.
