 34-year-old inmate dies after scuffle at Jalgaon jail

NASHIK: A

34-year-old

man allegedly involved in the murder of a BJP corporator, his brother and two sons, died following a scuffle with another prisoner inside the Jalgaon sub-jail in Maharashtra.
The decease

inmate

was identified as Mohsin Agsar Khan.
The incident occurred within the confines of the jail at around 1.30am.
The inmate was taken to Jalgaon civil hospital for treatment where he died during treatment.

Following the incident, police officers reached Jalgaon civil hospital.
As per the police, Mohsin was involved in the murder of BJP corporator Ravindra Kharat, his brother, and two sons. "Kharat and his brother were shot dead and his two sons died in attack with sharp weapons by three persons," police said.
The police also said that they have taken the prisoner who assaulted Mohsin Khan.
