Priyanka Chopra's mom, Madhu Chopra, recently spoke highly of her daughter and son-in-law, Nick Jonas, in an interview with Free Press Journal. She praised Nick for his family-oriented approach and caring nature towards their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Madhu also commended Priyanka's parenting skills and expressed her respect for Nick, describing him as a loving and respectful son-in-law.
"I truly love and respect him. He is a caring and respectful son-in-law. We have mutual respect and open discussions, but there are boundaries. We all enjoy each other's company as a complete family. Even though Nick is from a different culture, I see him as a family-oriented person. Priyanka and Nick share similar values, and he understands the importance of family in life," expressed Madhu.
She continued, "I observe Priyanka and Nick supporting each other in their professional lives too. When Priyanka is away for work, he looks after Malti. We feel fortunate to have him. I feel content knowing that Priyanka is handling her motherhood responsibilities even better than I did."
When asked about her daughter Priyanka, Madhu shared heartfelt sentiments. She said, "Through my daughter Priyanka, I am experiencing twice the joy of what I provided to my parents and in-laws. Priyanka has embraced a crucial value from us – the importance of family support. She observed her father taking care of them when I was away in an emergency. Today, she makes us proud by looking after her daughter Malti so well. Both Nick and Priyanka are genuinely lucky as they are a perfect match.”
Priyanka and Nick recently marked their fifth wedding anniversary. The couple welcomed their first child, Malti Marie, through surrogacy. Priyanka's upcoming projects include the film "Heads of State" and Bollywood's "Jee Le Zaraa." Meanwhile, Nick was last seen in "The Good Half" and made a cameo in Priyanka's "Love Again."
