French President Emmanuel Macron, who is the Republic Day chief guest this year, is slated to arrive in Jaipur on Thursday. He is expected to visit various tourist spots in the city and participate in a roadshow with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

French President Emmanuel Macron is expected to arrive in Jaipur on Thursday as part of his two-day visit to India. Macron is visiting the country as he is the Republic Day chief guest this year.
Macron will begin his packed day from Amer Fort. He will walk up to the fort where there is a cultural event planned for him.
He will then head to Jantar Mantar where he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders will walk around the area as it has historical significance for the French. It is the world’s largest observatory and a World Heritage site too. It has the largest stone sundial in the world.
