K P Sharma Oli
on being appointed as Nepal PM, expressing hope to further strengthen and expand the mutually beneficial
cooperation
between India and Nepal. This is the fourth time that the communist leader has assumed office as PM.
“Congratulations @kpsharmaoli on your
appointment
as the PM of Nepal.
Look forward to working closely to further strengthen the deep bonds of friendship between our two countries and to further expand our mutually beneficial cooperation for the progress and prosperity of our peoples,” said Modi in a post on X.
Responding to PM Modi’s congratulatory message on his appointment as Nepal's prime minister for the fourth time, Oli thanked the Indian leader for his warm wishes.

PM Modi twice visited Nepal during the time Oli was his counterpart in the past. The two leaders launched the largest hydroelectric project.
