Long Island native among top race walkers in the US

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Ruby Ray, a Long Island native who attends St. John’s University, is among the top race walkers in the United States.

Ray, 19, recently competed at the U.S. Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. She fell short of qualifying for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, but she now has her sights set on the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
