Long Island kids go on holiday shopping spree with the Nassau Police Department

HEWLETT, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Christmas came a few days early for some young homeless children and their families today as the Nassau Police Department took them on a shopping spree at a local toy store.
Each child received a $110 check to spend however they liked, and it was not always on themselves.
