NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. (PIX11) – A gas station owner angry over parking slashed a neighbor Wednesday afternoon in Franklin Square, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Daljit Singh, 58, now faces assault and weapons charges related to the slashing just before 2 p.m. at OK Gas Station on New Hyde Park Road, according to police.
Singh stands accused of striking an employee at a nearby business with a small knife, police said. Singh allegedly struck the 64-year-old in the neck and arm, police said.
The 64-year-old was taken to an area hospital as Singh was arrested.
