There seems to be a slight halt in the play as Chris Woakes has some problem with the footmarks on his end. The players use this time to take a short water break and refresh themselves. The groundsmen are dropping some sawdust on the footmarks which hopefully will improve the grip.

Pitch report - Nikhil Uttamchandani is pitchside and he says that there are some cracks in the middle, but there might be moisture under it as there was rain. The spinners might get some grip, and the batters need to be a little watchful. He feels that it will be a high scoring match and that the average first innings score on this ground is around 170.
Rovman Powell the skipper of West Indies, says that he feels it is a pretty good surface and he would have preferred to bowl first too. He adds that they will try to make full use of the powerplay. Ends by saying that Gudakesh Motie comes in for Romario Shepherd.
