UPDATE 0915 IST (0345 GMT) - Tea has been taken at the MCG with no optimistic news regarding the rain. Pakistan will be gutted as they started the second session on a really good note, getting a wicket and keeping the batters in check. Let's hope the rain goes away quickly.
UPDATE 0854 IST (0324 GMT) - The rain has arrived! The players are walking off and the covers are coming on. It is not heavy now but the cloud above looks pretty threatening. Let us hope it is not a long delay as that battle between the Pakistan bowlers and the Aussie batters was really good.
