Dasun Shanaka to Sikandar Raza, Short delivery around off. Sikandar Raza takes room once again and guides it to the right of the backward point. Theekshana dives and makes a stop and saves a couple of runs.

Pathum Nissanka runs in from the fence and flies in front as he puts in a brilliant diving effort to collect this but he ends up pouching it on a bounce. Pathum Nissanka is unsure as the umpires ask for a decision by the third umpire. The ball has bounced before the fielder catches it.  A brilliant effort by Pathum Nissanka but Sean Williams survives.

Time for drinks. Sri Lanka would be gutted as they missed a few chances to remove Sean Williams but they would be happy with the wickets they acquired early on. The visitors though would be counting on their skipper to go big.
