LI pizzerias raise $180,000 for NYPD Det. Diller's family, police charities

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – Pizzerias across Long Island came together to support the family of fallen NYPD Det. Jonathan Diller.

More than 250 restaurants took part in the LI Pizza Strong fundraiser, where participating pizzerias donated $5 for every pie sold on April 17.

A total of $180,000 was raised. The money will be donated to Diller's family as well as other charities that provide support for police officers and their families.
