Elon Musk goes on meme spree with Trump on the verge of second term

As Donald Trump inched closer to the White House gaining victory in key swing states of North Carolina and Pennsylvania, Elon Musk, who endorsed and campaigned vigorously for the former president, went on a meme frenzy. Musk curated an image of him walking into the White House with a sink in hand.

Musk and Trump spent election night at Mar-a-Lago, joining in the festivities in Palm Beach, Florida. A widely shared image on social media captured Musk sitting beside the Republican nominee, with a screen behind them showing exit polls indicating Trump’s lead.

Musk was reportedly one of the few people with Trump as he watched the election results unfold, according to The New York Times. Trump hosted a series of events at Mar-a-Lago, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. He was also set to address his donors at the Palm Beach Convention Center as the election outcome became clearer, The New York Post reported.

As early projections showed Trump ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, Musk expressed confidence in his return to the White House. On X, Musk tweeted, “Game, set, match,” and shared a prediction from Polymarket, a New York-based forecasting platform, which gave Trump a 90.1% chance of winning, compared to Harris’s 9.2%.

Musk, who has contributed over $119 million to a super PAC backing Trump, has been an active supporter throughout the campaign, holding events in Pennsylvania and hosting an X-Space with the former president. He has also appeared at several of Trump’s rallies.
As of the latest projections, Trump leads with 211 electoral votes, while Harris has 145.
