, today announced the launch of the new LXS 2.0 electric scooter in the Indian market at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). Interested individuals can book the EV and the deliveries are slated to begin from March 2024.

is positioned below the LXS 3.0 electric scooter with a larger 3 kWh battery pack. Both models look identical but the

Lectrix LXS 2.0

has a smaller battery capacity. The e-scooter gets a 2.2 kW (2.9 bhp) BLDC hub motor with claimed top speed of 60 kmph with a 98 km range in one full charge.

In terms of features, it gets 25 litres of under-seat storage space, 90/110 front and 110/90 rear 10-inch tyres, follow-me headlamp function and more. The company also said that the vehicle has been tested for a quality performance of over 1.25 lakh kilometres.
