NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Memorial Day travelers should expect delays of over an hour at LaGuardia and increasing delays out of Newark Monday, according to the FAA.
Starting at 1 p.m., flights in and out of LaGuardia Airport are expected to see, on average, 100-minute delays, according to the FAA. The delays are expected to last through the night and could reach as long as three and a half hours.
At Newark Liberty International Airport, flights were seeing 15 minute delays starting around 11:30 a.m., but the delay time is increasing, according to the FAA.
Delays are expected at Newark, JFK and LaGuardia through at least 7 p.m.
