Klay Thompson has the required support from his teammate Kyrie Irving. Further, Irving has a piece of advice for Thomson as she shared, “Just enjoy the moment and really feel the love that you’re getting from this fanbase because you put in the work and you deserve it.”
Of course, Thompson needs to focus on the games and keep his momentum adhering to his prowess. While his previous “tension and anxiety” filled departure was devastating, the veteran’s return would continue his legacy adding more records and accolades to his name.
Irving further disclosed that Thomson has been focused without any distraction, “Nah, he’s really focused. He’s really focused. He’s locked in. So, anything I can do to be great teammate to him, that’s what I’m gonna do including everybody here,” he added.
As for KT, he is in his coolest stature despite the astonishing hype surrounding him. “It will be good to see people that you grinded with obviously, but to me, it’s just another regular season game in November,” the NBA veteran said. He further shared that he is all focused on the Emirates NBA Cup. “That’s what’s in my mind is to win that because I haven’t been a part of it yet. I know it’s young, but be fun to play for that title,” he added.

KT is now a
Dallas Mavericks
guard and his first game back in the Bay Area against his old team has certainly created some emotions but with that, the spark of anticipation for his reaction was even higher. “That chapter is over,” Thompson told Andscape following the Mavericks’ 122-120 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.
He went on to add, “I’m in the midst of trying to win here. There is no point in missing anything when we have such a great opportunity here to be great. There’s no point in looking back … I got to look forward. I got to try to give my best self here.”
Regardless, he has the support of his teammates, and the good news is he is clear about his goals.
